For the past four decades, Richard Wentworth’s work has been supplemented and inspired by his engagement with the forms and fabric of the built world. A confirmed wanderer, his ongoing photographic series ‘Making Do and Getting By’ documents the moments of unaccountable humour, beauty and interest he finds along the way. This event was organised in collaboration with the Contemporary Art Society’s Consultancy Department who are currently working with Richard Wentworth on a major new project for the Lyric Hammersmith.
