Hobson’s Choice – Jack Lavender at The approach
Jack Lavender is a young British artist whose practice draws on painting, sculpture and collage to create environments including, in the case of his first solo show at The approach in Bethnal Green, ambient music and incense.
Hobson’s Choice – Karin Ruggaber at PEER
German born, London-based artist Karin Ruggaber’s work is made from the arrangement of both made and found materials – organic forms individually cast from pigmented concrete or plaster as well as cloth, wire or other industrially produced elements.
